I’m Going To Venice, Florida And It Takes 3 Hours To Get There, My Parents Are Driving.?
It takes 3 hours to get to Venice, Florida from where we live. My parents will be driving (well my dad) and a few friends it’s for a seminar, but me, my mom, and friends will be at the beach alot. And I am always nervous before traveling. Anyone want to cheer me up? And without counting the friends on this question I am bringing the laptop for this trip, but I kinda get carsick while reading anything on the computer. And there’s also TVs in the head rest seat, but what if I have a nervous breakdown or an anxiety attack and our house is 3 hours away?! Is 3 hours a long drive? We are leaving tomorrow and we are also leaving our pets at home (obviously), and my brother and the petsitter will be here. But I’m nervous about myself just about being nervous that it’s a 3 hour drive, is it a long drive?
Wow calm down it is only a 3 hour drive! It really is not that long by the time you get settled in the car you are halfway there. Your lap top will help keep you entertained, do you have an IPOD or cd player or something? I always think that music helps a drive go faster. What about playing some car games with the other people??? We are older but, yet when we go on road trips we always play kids games. Gives you something to do. Bring Trivia cards and just ask the questions. Play 20 questions, car bingo, sleep, do crossword puzzles, do word searches. You can go to Wal-Mart and get travel size Sorry, Connect Four, ect…they are cheap small and can be fun. Make up a scavanger hunt for the way down of things to see, blue car, billboard with a dog ect… the person who gets the most wins. If you start to get nervous just take a breath, and focus on something out the window. You are going with family and friends, you know these people it will be OK! Again, 3 hours is really not a long drive, have fun, relax you are going to the BEACH!! Hope this helps.
