old huskey dog with digesting problems?
i have a 14 year old siberian huskey. she has a problem digesting meat. we had this problem with her last year and took her to the vet. i was wondering if anyone knew of any type of a home remedy to help cure her. her stomach is hard and she has been puking but nothing is really coming up. most vets are closed since it is thanksgiving, if anyone has any additional information it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
You can cook white rice in 4 cups water per cup of rice, and simmer until water is all absorbed. If you put fresh, de-boned fish in the rice water, it will make the rice tasty..add 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt with each feeding, plus a tablespoon of rice bran or oat bran.
Alternative to fish is chicken livers. Makes a great broth, but only allow 2 chicken livers per day..
