Do herbal collars work for pets? Or are there any natural herbs or sprays I can buy or make on my own?

Hi, I'm afraid to keep using frontline and hart on my cat...we have woods in the back and I don't want him bringing back tics and fleas...he has kidney disease and I don't want to put anymore stress on his system. Anyone try these herbal collars and other remedies?

I have had really good luck with herbal flea collars. Just be careful of the ones with pennyroyal - they can be irritating to the skin of animals that don't have thick fur. However - the pennyroyal really works well if it's not making direct contact with the skin. I like the ones that have pennyroyal, lavender and eucalyptus all combined - and cedar. Good luck!
