Heart Problems In Dogs

dog heart problems for 7 year old.?

Well my couzin’s female dog which is 7 has this problem. She is back home in india and so she was asking me to find out. She has this heart problem where her heart keeps expanding and she can’t even sleep at nights because she gets water coming out of her nose. They went to the doctors there and she got her self checked but she just wanted an idea of what happens here in canada or us.

Sounds like congestive heart failure. I had a dog that had that condition, but the vet helped us control it with Digitalis and Lasix (the same drugs used for the condition in humans.)
