How do you help dog separation anxiety?

My husband has to go out of state for 3 weeks and our little dog absolutely adores him. What should we do?

spend as much time as you can with him/her.walk him twice a day,do
some of the things your husband did with him.and of course,treats.
nothing like a good bribe.but no matter what,at the end he will be fine.
