Dog Behavior? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!?
I just got a new dog today (Great Pyrnesse) and my other dog (flat hair lab mixed with a rotwiller) is acting agressive when ever my new dog comes and sniffs her! Is this normal?!?! If you can help Please Please Do.
My Great Pyrnees is 2 and my flat haired lab rotwiller mix is 3
Your mix being the Alpha in the house and not knowing the new dog it will take a little while for them to adjust to one another.
You never mentioned the age of the Pyrenees if it is an adult you want to monitor them closely to avoid fights.
the longer the new dog is there the more settled things will become but only after pack structure is sorted out by the dogs.
